DESCRIPTION:Monday – Friday | October\, November\, & December\, 2020\n10:30 – 11:00 am | Zoom Meeting\nRegistration recommended\nJoin us for this half-hour online activity session designed to engage people who are living at home with dementia. Each session will feature a guest presenter who will guide participants through fun and engaging activities they can do from home.\nThese activities will include things like music therapy\, movement\, arts\, sing-a-longs\, and social opportunities. Having a routine can be a major benefit for those with dementia\, so we have chosen to offer this program five days a week! SUMMARY:Getting Through the Holidays with COVID and Dementia: Virtual and In-Person Support Groups
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 4-week Dementia Support Group with in-person and virtual options presented by Dementia Friendly Fort Worth and James L. West Center for Dementia Care.   These sessions are designed to help those caring for someone with dementia to get through the holidays with less stress. \nNovember 10 \nNovember 17 \nDecember 1 \nDecember 15 \nIn-person group is limited to 8 participants.    Location: First United Methodist Church: 750 w. 5th St.\, 3rd floor Conference Room.    Masks  must be worn over the nose and mouth.  Only medically necessary food/beverages allowed–nothing provided.  On-line PRESCREENING REQUIRED.  SCREEN HERE  \nAll others will join by zoom.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED: jcobb@JamesLWest.org. \n  \n
