DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, March 26 | 8:30 am – 4:30 pm \nThe Alzheimer’s Association is pleased to present North Central Texas’ largest education event focused on caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Serving a diverse and interconnected community of care providers\, the all-day symposium features expert speakers\, informative and engaging presentations\, and an exhibit hall housing dozens of businesses that serve caregivers. \nFamily caregivers and healthcare professionals will learn about dementia care from experts in a variety of disciplines. Sixteen different breakout sessions provide current\, practical information for caregivers of people in different stages of the disease\, from recent diagnosis to end-of-life. For the comfort and convenience of attendees\, registration includes complimentary beverages and lunch. \nFamily caregivers may attend at no charge; continuing education credits are available for healthcare professionals such as clinical and support personnel who would benefit from learning more about dementia. \nREGISTER
