Dementia: The Lived Experience — The Positive Impact of Advocacy. Virtual session.

Dementia is one of the most critical public health issues in America, and advocacy plays a vital role in the care and quality of life of those affected. In this presentation, people who are living with dementia from the National Council of Dementia Minds will discuss the positive impact that dementia advocacy and education have on their health and well-being. Discover how advocacy enhances identity, connectedness, security, autonomy, meaning, growth and joy.
