Dementia Friendly Fort Worth has collaborated with Texas Health Resources to launch a new program designed to engage those who are lonely and socially isolated. Do you know someone who could benefit from this program? See program details below and contact us today for more information.
Let’s Get Together — a Social Club for Seniors! Join us for this daily online activity session designed to engage seniors who are living at home and struggle with anxiety, boredom, depression, loneliness and have limited opportunities to engage socially with others. Each session will feature a guest presenter who will guide participants through fun and engaging activities. Participants will be joined by others who find themselves in a similar situation.
These activities will include things like arts, games, music, movement, all with a social component. Having a routine can be a major benefit for seniors at home and staying connected can reduce the risk for heart disease, stroke, and dementia, the program is offered five days a week!
